We’ve crunched the numbers and are pleased to reveal the best hotels in the UK that have made it into this year’s trivago Hotel Awards. We’ve taken all the hotel reviews on trivago and our partner sites in order to form this year’s list and each of these hotels outperformed the competition in terms of consistently good service, amenities and guest experience.*

So, whether you want to stay in the lap of luxury at the best 5-star hotel in the country or simply find a hotel that is renowned for its value for money, we’ve got the low-down on where to stay.

We chose the most popular local chains based on searches on trivago. We want to award the hotel chains that local travelers repeatedly pick for their trips. From those chains we want to award the one Chain hotel that mostly impress the traveler for its variety of amenities and services.

*For the trivago Awards 2018, we used data from an internal algorithm  – the trivago Rating Index – to aggregate guest reviews and ratings from over 175 million hotels globally. The hotel with the highest generated score in each awarded category is deemed the category winner, and to ensure accuracy, a minimum of 20 reviews were required for award eligibility
