The Christmas season is well underway and luxury hotels are pulling out all the stops uploading decadent displays of festive cheer to their Instagram accounts.
We’ve picked our top 5 Instagram posts to get you in the Christmas spirit from some of our favourite opulent and prestigious establishments.
Claridge’s unveiled their Christmas tree, this year designed by Burberry’s Christopher Bailey. The iconic tree takes pride of place in the lobby of the Art-deco Mayfair hotel, with gold and silver umbrellas reflecting the light in all directions. The tree puts a festive spin on London’s (usually) wet weather.

Brown’s Hotel is famous for being the place where Queen Victoria would come to take her tea. This year, Brown’s has teamed up with Fortnum and Masons, Piccadilly’s purveyors of high-end produce, including fine teas and luxurious Christmas hampers filled with delicious goodies. We love the display of hampers in Browns’ forecourt along with the darling cups, saucers and mini hampers decorating the tree within.

Four Seasons, George V
The George V in Paris goes all-out with its Christmas decorations and the imposing polar bear sculptures which surround the lit-up Christmas trees are quite a sight to behold. The two spectacular sapphire-coloured polar bears have taken up residence in the lobby and were designed by Artistic Director Jeff Leatham, who drew inspiration from his childhood memories to create the artwork.
