When it comes to booking that all-important summer getaway, location is key. Why settle for a hotel miles from the beach, when you could stay by the shore and feel the sand beneath your toes before breakfast?
But if you don’t want to shell out for that beach view, we’ve put together a list of affordable beach hotels in Europe.
Each of the hotels below had an average price of under £119 per night on trivago from 1 June – 30 September 2014, making them great value options for a taste of sun, sea and sand this summer.
St. Julian’s, Malta
If you’re looking for some rest and relaxation then choices don’t get much better than the Intercontinental Malta.
