A spa hotel near Glasgow with a Rasul Mud chamber

1/4

The Westerwood have just made a significant investment into updating their spa and it’s well worth a visit. The renovations include new treatment rooms, an extended relaxation chamber and a brand-new Rasul Mud Therapy Suite. This complements the already existing health club, indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.

The spa treatments use Espa skincare products and the highly-trained therapists can help you to decide which treatment best suits you. The spa also offers specially formulated treatments for men and special preparations for a glamourous night out.

The hotel is also home to a fantastic 18-hole golf course designed by Seve Ballesteros and Dave Thomas. The signature hole, known as the ‘Waterfall hole’ around Par 3 15th, means hitting from above to a green surrounded by a 60ft rock face. It’s not for the faint-hearted but it certainly keeps things competitive!

A spa hotel near Glasgow with views over the River Clyde

1/3

The Gleddoch Imperia Spa is the perfect place to take some time out, with all hotel guests having complimentary use of the spa. If you are really in need of some TLC, then book yourself a treatment to chase all the stress away.

The spa area features a swimming pool, sauna room, steam room and fully-equipped gym. The spa uses products from two excellent brands, Ishga Scottish Seaweed Skincare and Elemis Spa Therapy applied by their expert therapists in a wide range of treatments.

Most of the luxurious rooms at the Gleddoch hotel have incredible views over the River Clyde or the highly-manicured golf course. Our favourite of the rooms is the Executive Super King offering floor-ceiling windows, beautifully luxurious furnishings and an extremely large king-size bed.
