Right next to the Ushuaïa and thus close to the nightlife is the Hard Rock Hotel. Stage-outfits worn by Britney Spears, Madonna and rock legends of the world adorn the lobby of this iconic hotel. Incidentally, in the lobby café, I like the freshly squeezed juice to recharge my batteries after a long night of letting loose.

“Are you ready for a holiday full of music at the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza?” isn’t just a hotel slogan, pool parties are the order of the day and every Friday, there is an event on the schedule. Since you’re already partying like a rockstar, why not live like one, too? Book yourself into the Rock Star Suite and enjoy 165 square metres of living space, two bedrooms, gaming consoles and a private hot tub.

Even rock star needs a break to recharge their batteries. A special highlight for all yoga and meditation fans is the Rock Om® Vinyasa Yoga. Accompanied by rhythmic sounds, this kind of yoga gives you an extraordinary ‘flow experience’.

Right in the hotel are two top restaurants, the Izakaya Asian Kitchen & Bar and The Butcher. My favourite is the latter. The burger restaurant is really world-class—from truffle burger and hot dog to peanut butter shake, everything is tasty here!

As the name implies, the Hotel El Pacha belongs to the Pacha Club. Most of the DJs who play at the club at night are housed in this hotel, so catching a celebrity in the lobby is almost guaranteed. Opened in 2003, El Pacha is a luxury hotel with all the amenities needed to make your party vacation as relaxing as possible.

The best thing about the hotel is the location. All you need to do is cross the street and you are already at the famous club. This year, DJ greats like Dixon on Fridays, Solomun Sundays and Claptone on Mondays have their so-called ‘residencies’ at Pacha. With some room categories, the entrance to the Pacha can be booked directly, or included in the room rate, saving you from the ticket stress and long queuing in front of the club.

When you need to refuel the next day, be re-energized at Passion Café Marina. The cafe is just minutes from the hotel towards the harbour. From smoothies to superfoods and acai bowls to juicy pancakes and banana bread, you’ll find everything that makes a foodie’s heart beat faster. The drinks are also top-notch. If you fancy a chai latte or turmeric latte, you are in the right place.

Imagine yourself lying by the pool, in a comfortable four-poster cabana, with a fresh fruit juice in your hand. Your feet gently bob to the Balearic sounds that echo from the DJ console to your ears. In front of you, a colourful plate of the finest sushi and there’s nothing else you can do but smile. This is the feeling of an early afternoon at the Destino Resort—a sister hotel to El Pacha and part of the Pacha Club.

For you, the party starts in Destino and ends in Pacha or in the associated Cabaret Club Lio. The hotel is located in Talamanca and is the perfect place for dignified pool parties during the day. If you want even more relaxation, book yourself in for a spa treatment or take a dip in the Jacuzzi.

The simple, white Ibizan design makes your stay feel like an authentic experience on the island. When booking a hotel room, you will receive free admission to the Pacha Club and will save you time and higher prices in the evening.

The boutique hotel Pikes Ibiza is located on a hill near San Antonio, a popular party spot on the island. This quaint hotel is a true institution in Ibiza and was best known for its former founder and namesake, Tony Pike. The party legend regularly welcomed international stars such as Grace Jones, Julio Iglesias and Freddie Mercury in his Finca. In addition, Wham’s famous music video for ‘Club Tropicana’ was shot here.

In 2011, the new owners renovated the house, but still retained the original charm of the traditional hotel. Each room has its own character and immediately, the relation to the stars and starlets of this world is apparent. Although the hotel is located in Sant Antoni de Portmany, a party town, it is located in a quiet area overlooking the bay.

The hotel hosts regular pikes parties and events with well-known DJs, for example, Pikes on Sundays. The party starts with a relaxed lunch by the pool. But before you get your groove going, I recommend you order a delicious Bloody Mary.

The stylishly decorated The Purple Hotel caters exclusively to LGBT travellers looking for a holiday in a family atmosphere. For the days after wild nights, the hotel restaurant offers fresh, healthy cuisine that will quickly get you going again.

The spacious rooms with balconies are modern and attractively furnished, and the city’s famous nightlife with clubs, Es Paradis and Eden, and countless bars are right outside the hotel. The harbour, the promenade and the beach are all within walking distance.

We shouldn’t forget the most important meal of the day. For breakfast, head to The Café Bondi, located directly on the harbour. The drinks menu includes fresh juices, smoothies and milkshakes, while the large selection of coffee specialties also ensure a caffeine kick in the morning. Various toasts, delicious egg dishes, acai and salad bowls and airy pancakes enrich the menu, which lists almost everything a breakfast fan could desire.

Family-run Hostal Adelino is located in the centre of San Antonio. Many shops, bars and the beach can be reached quickly and easily on foot. Adelino isn’t your typical hostel with shared rooms. The rooms here are either single, double or triple, so you can have your little slice of peace and recover from the previous night of partying.

Each room also has its own bathroom and most even have their own balcony. It gets even better because there’s also a sun terrace and the outdoor swimming pool, which is calling your name to relax during the day and sip cocktails.

If you like to party at sea? From San Antonio, there are regular party boats. When buying your ticket, be sure to look for ticket packages that include club entry. The best-known providers are Float Your Boat, Lost in Ibiza and Pukka Up.
